Youth Program Lead Instructor
Are you passionate about working with youth and sharing your love of climbing? We are seeking a Youth Program Lead Instructor to support the delivery of our youth programs in a safe, engaging, and positive environment.
This role focuses on hands-on instruction, participant supervision, and supporting the successful day-to-day operation of youth programming.

This role focuses on hands-on instruction, participant supervision, and supporting the successful day-to-day operation of youth programming.
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with delivery of Spider Monkeys and Chimps youth climbing sessions
- Supervise youth participants to ensure safety and adherence to climbing protocols
- Support CAMP CLIMB Day Camps during PA Days, March Break, and Summer sessions
- Assist with lesson planning and preparation of climbing activities
- Provide encouragement, instruction, and positive mentorship to young climbers
- Support communication with parents regarding day-of program logistics
- Maintaining program records, tracking participant progress, and providing regular updates to parents and guardians
- Assist with equipment checks and general program setup/cleanup
- Work collaboratively with other instructors and staff during program delivery
- Front Desk and Instructional duties
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (Availability is non-negotiable)
- Saturday or Sunday
Qualifications
- Experience working with youth in a recreational or educational setting
- Strong understanding of climbing safety standards and basic instructional techniques
- Experience with Rock Gym Pro software (an asset)
- Excellent communication skills and a positive leadership presence
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Passion for climbing and youth development
- Climbing instruction or youth program certifications are considered assets.
